In a bizarre series of events, a man known for his drunken escapades at La Poubelle Restaurant in Los Angeles, which earned him the moniker “Drunk Cheeseburger Guy,” has been accused of fabricating assault claims and engaging in vandalism.

Eyewitnesses reported that the man, whose identity has not been disclosed, first drew attention by shouting and stumbling near the restaurant’s entrance. He then allegedly approached several pedestrians, accusing them of hitting him, although no physical contact was observed.

Shortly after, the man reportedly targeted a minor riding a bike, attempting to grab the handlebars and verbally harassing the young cyclist. Witnesses intervened, preventing any physical altercation.

In a further display of erratic behavior, the man was later seen tearing down protest flyers from telephone poles in the area. It remains unclear what motivated his actions or if there was any specific target of his vandalism.

The Los Angeles Police Department was alerted to the incidents and arrived promptly at the scene. They apprehended the man without further incident.

In a statement to the press, Sergeant Ramirez of the LAPD confirmed the arrest and stated that the investigation is ongoing. He urged anyone with additional information to come forward.
